Beach Mission – a Foundation which organizes mission trips to holiday destinations of young people, uses personal and other data in accordance with current law. Your privacy is very important to us and we carefully handle your personal data. Your personal data are used exclusively by us or on behalf of us and are not distributed to others. Below is stated exactly what you can expect from us and which rules we abide by.
Applicability
This privacy statement is applicable to the use of:
Personal information submitted by participants of mission trips, young people whom we have met during the trips, donors, connections and volunteers,
and data received after you visited and used our website.
Handling of your data
Participants of the trips are asked for their personal data (name, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, copy of health insurance card) in order to collect the information required for the accommodation, for taking out travel insurance, for organizing the trip, for providing them with information about the trip and for charging them the expenses. The telephone number also is collected to bring them into contact with other participants prior to the trip.
Young people whom we meet during a mission trip are asked for their personal data (name, telephone number, e-mail address, facebook data, place and country of residence) in order to get into contact with them again resulting from the first encounter, and to bring them into contact with somebody from a local church.
Beach Mission keeps records of donors, also including personal data of other connections.
Beach Mission calls upon its connections through actions and campaigns to give a contribution to the objective of our organization. We collect personal data (name, address, city, telephone number, and email address) in order to specifically inform you about our work and in order to ask your financial support for this. Collecting personal data happens via the website when you sign up via the website as donor, or for the digital newsletter. Recruitment also takes place (via a registration form or a telephone conversation).
Financial data and personal data are collected in order to carry out the agreement (donation). These data are not distributed to third parties for commercial purposes.
BEACH MISSION has the Dutch ANBI-status (tax exemption status).

BEACH MISSION is legally required to ask for proof of identity before we are allowed to provide you with information about your personal data in our administration. In sending out e-mail newsletters, BEACH MISSION is making use of a system which provides insights into the way these e-mails are being opened. It also can be seen whether you click on the links in our e-mail. This way BEACH MISSION can further optimize its information to your interests. Our registration system also makes it possible to make selections, so we can approach specific target groups more directly.
